Camping Guidelines
Memories of great camping experiences require a concentrated effort by all and we ask that you observe the following guidelines:
- All campers must register in the campground between 9:00am and 10:00 pm in the office before initially entering the campground.
- Campground gate closes at 10:00pm and vehicles may not enter until morning.
- Checkout time is 1:00pm (if a paddling trip is scheduled through our Livery that day, adjustments are made with manager). After 1pm those staying later must pay for an additional day.
- Speed limit is 5mph in the campground.
- Enjoy bicycles but all ATV”s and motorcycles must remain on trailers.
- Quiet hours are ALL hours.
- Fireworks and firearms are illegal and NEVER allowed. Those not adhering will be asked to leave immediately.
- Campfires may be enjoyed in the fire ring only.
- Bonfires and fires outside of the fire rings are not allowed.
- Fires should be small and maintained within 2 feet above the ring.
- Firewood may be purchased in the office and can also be delivered to your campsite by request. The US Forest Service has asked that FIREWOOD NOT BE BROUGHT INTO THE CAMPGROUND in hopes of protecting our forests from the Emerald Ash Bore. Please work with us on this.
- Hot campfires must be attended. Whenever leaving be certain that the Fire Pit is cold.
- Show respect for others by maintaining a low volume with radios and sound systems.
- Alcohol use for those 21 years of age is permitted in moderation and within legal standards. Public intoxication and use of illegal drugs will not be tolerated nor will foul language and inappropriate behavior.
- When leaving please clean your campsite and place all garbage in trash dumpster. Stop by the office and let administration know that you are checking out.
